Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri broke down in tears on Monday as his longtime colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, was laid to rest in Ilaro, Ogun State.
Quadri was among the prominent figures in the Nollywood industry who gathered in Ilaro to pay their final respects to the late actor.
The two had shared a longstanding relationship, with Quadri also among the colleagues who supported Hassan during his illness.
Other Nollywood personalities at the burial included veteran actor Jide Kosoko, actress Ireti Osayemi, Femi Adebayo, and several others who travelled to Ilaro to honour the deceased.
Hassan died on August 23, 2026, at the age of 66, following a battle with stage-four cancer.
