Dr Kolawole Lawal Mobolorunduro (KLM) has described the achievements of Hon. Jimoh Olushola Ojugbele during his tenure in the House of Representatives as exceptional, expressing confidence that his track record will speak for him when the people of Ogun West Senatorial District go to the polls to elect their next senator.
Ojugbele, who represented his constituency in the House of Representatives between 2019 and 2023, made significant contributions to legislative activities and championed initiatives to improve his constituents’ lives.
KLM, a former lawmaker who represented the Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency in the 9th National Assembly from 2019 to 2023, commended Ojugbele for investing in critical infrastructure and introducing initiatives to strengthen key sectors, including education, healthcare and agriculture.
KLM also highlighted Ojugbele’s contributions to the rehabilitation of major roads, including the Lagos–Sango–Abeokuta Expressway and the Atan–Lusada–Agbara Road.
According to him, the former lawmaker also facilitated the installation of more than 1,000 solar-powered streetlights, awarded scholarships to over 200 students and supported the construction of a modern police station in Igbesa to enhance security in the area.
He expressed optimism that Ojugbele’s experience and antecedents would enable him to bring his legislative capacity to bear on the development of Ogun West Senatorial District.
KLM further noted that Ojugbele’s experience would complement the incoming governor’s agenda, Senator Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), particularly in sustaining development programmes aimed at strengthening Ogun State’s position as Nigeria’s economic gateway.
KLM said, “Hon. Jimoh Olushola Ojugbele is, by every measure, a seasoned administrator and politician who has used his experience, influence and capacity to promote meaningful development for the people of Ogun West Senatorial District and beyond.
