Voters in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State have alleged that suspected supporters of the All Progressives Congress were distributing cash to voters during Saturday’s governorship election.
The incident was captured in a video recorded at Ward 4, Unit 7, where voters were seen confronting individuals accused of sharing money at the polling unit.
According to the voters, the incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. A similar allegation was also reported at Ward 4, Unit 13, around 10:30 a.m.
One of the voters featured in the video claimed that the individuals accused of distributing the cash fled the area, taking some of the money with them in a polythene bag.
