Elderly and physically challenged voters were among those who turned out early on Saturday to cast their ballots in the Osun State governorship election.
The elderly were seen at various polling units across the state, joining other residents to exercise their franchise and elect the next governor.
Physically challenged voters were also present at several polling units, waiting in queues to cast their votes.
As early as 7:30 a.m., ad hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had arrived at some polling units and wards ahead of the commencement of voting.
The turnout highlighted the participation of voters from different age groups and backgrounds in the electoral process.
