The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced September 30, 2026, as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One Orientation Course.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
According to the statement, the three-week orientation exercise will begin on Wednesday, September 30, and end on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
It said registration of prospective Corps members would commence on September 30 and close on Friday, October 2, while the swearing-in ceremony would hold on the same day.
The orientation course will take place across all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished prospective Corps members and orientation camp officials safe journeys to their respective camps.
He also advised prospective Corps members to avoid night travel and use designated motor parks when embarking on their journeys to the orientation camps.
