The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 3,119 polling unit results from Saturday’s Osun State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV), representing 82.89 per cent of the 3,763 expected results.
Checks on the portal as of 8:06pm showed that the number of uploaded results had risen from 2,897, or 76.99 per cent, recorded about 45 minutes earlier.
The latest upload was recorded at 8:00:34pm from Polling Unit 29/11/11/009 in Ife North Local Government Area, as collation continued across the state’s 30 local government areas.
The commission’s Result Stats section showed the figures increasing steadily as more polling unit results were uploaded. The portal also allows users to refresh the page for real-time updates.
