Leeds started the second half positively but were unable to find an equaliser as Chelsea held on for a crucial win. They will face Manchester City in the final on May 16 after Pep Guardiola’s side beat Southampton yesterday.
Chelsea fans will make the short trip to Wembley again in 20 days’ time for their FA Cup final showdown with Manchester City.
Chelsea will be going for their ninth title in this competition, while City are going for their eighth in what could be one of Pep Guardiola’s final games.
Those two teams have never met in the FA Cup final before.
Victory today means Chelsea will contest their 17th FA Cup final at this stadium in three weeks’ time.
Only Manchester United (22) and Arsenal (21) have played in English football’s showpiece on more occasions.
