The All Progressives Congress (APC) All Support Groups Network (ASGN-APC) has announced the appointment of renowned media relations expert, Mr. Ifeayi Enweliku, popularly referred to as mc down , as the Zonal Coordinator for the South-West Geopolitical Zone.
The Network, powered by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Dr. George Akume, CON, and led by its National Coordinator, Hon. Mukhtar Bala Ibrahim, is strategically positioned to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, through grassroots engagement, advocacy, stakeholder collaboration, and political mobilization across the country.
Mr. Enweliku’s appointment was conveyed in a letter dated July 2, 2026, jointly signed by the Zonal Coordinator Secretary, Dr. Abayomi Oyedele, FNSIS, FCICN, and the Zonal Secretary, Dr. Adeniyi John.
According to the appointment letter, Mr. Enweliku will support the coordination and management of communications, media, and SPD Team activities.
His responsibilities include strengthening media relations, overseeing public information dissemination, coordinating digital media and publicity campaigns, monitoring media coverage and public perception, acting on behalf of the Director of Communications, Media, and SPD Team when required, and recommending welfare interventions where necessary.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr. Enweliku expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of the Network for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to discharge the responsibilities of his office with dedication, loyalty, professionalism, and integrity.
His words: “l am deeply honoured by this appointment and grateful for the confidence placed in me. I am committed to working closely with the leadership and members of the Network to promote the ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC), strengthen our communication strategy, and contribute meaningfully to the successful implementation of the Network’s objectives,” he said.
