Bendoriks International Limited, a Nigerian company based in Lagos and specialising in meter manufacturing, assembly, and deployment, has signed a $7.5 million agreement with CRS Water Concession SPV Limited for the supply of ultrasonic prepaid water meters for deployment to 100,000 households as part of the rehabilitation, upgrading, and management of public water infrastructure in Cross River State.
The agreement forms part of the ongoing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative aimed at restoring sustainable access to potable water across the state while improving efficiency in water distribution and revenue collection.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, the Managing Director of Bendoriks International Limited, Mr. Ben Ikiseh, said the company would commence the first phase of the project with the deployment of 100,000 water meters, assuring that additional requests would be met promptly, as adequate provisions had been made for the successful execution of the contract.
According to him, the project, upon completion, would address the long-standing challenges of poor water supply and inefficient revenue collection through the installation of modern metering systems.

“Our company will deploy 100,000 meters in the first phase, while subsequent requests will be met without delay because we have made adequate preparations for this important project.
“Bendoriks International has built a strong reputation in this sector, and we will deploy our expertise to ensure the successful delivery of clean and safe water to residents.”
Ikiseh also disclosed that the company’s technical team is fully prepared to begin installation once all necessary arrangements have been concluded.
He commended the management of Core Trust and Investment Limited for championing a project he described as transformative, noting that it would significantly improve access to potable water for residents across the state.
In his remarks, the Group Managing Director of Core Trust and Investment Limited, Mr. Ayo Taire, thanked Bendoriks International Limited for its confidence in the initiative and commitment to its implementation.
He assured stakeholders that the necessary infrastructure would be put in place to achieve the project’s objectives, adding that the initiative has the potential to become a benchmark for water sector reforms and attract interest from other states seeking similar solutions.
Also speaking, the Managing Director of Core Trust and Investment Limited, Mr. Adolphus Aletor, expressed appreciation to all stakeholders involved in the project, stating that the ultimate goal is to make Cross River State a model of people-centred governance where every resident has reliable access to potable water.
He thanked Bendoriks International Limited for believing in the project and encouraged the company to replicate the experience it has garnered over the years in deploying nearly one million meters across various sectors in Nigeria.
