Governor Sani

Chairman of the Ekiti All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Organisation and Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has said that the outcome of today’s governorship election will be a referendum on the performance of the Tinubu government, its acceptance, and the popularity of the party in Ekiti State.

Sani made the comment while taking a tour of some polling units in Ado Ekiti on Saturday.
According to him, opposition parties in Ekiti are not on ground but mostly on social media.

“This election will be a referendum of the works of President Tinubu and the performance of the Oyebanji government in Ekiti state”, he said.

Flanked by the National secretary of the APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru, the governor took journalists on a tour of the APC situation room, where election results are being tracked using AI-enabled systems as verified on the field by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
